Grant Coordinator / Administrator for Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment and Retention Program. (VFRR Program).

The Applicant must be able to ensure compliance with the (VFRR program) being established by the FEMA SAFER Grant funding provided to Tabernacle Township and monitor and report the overall success of the program.

Duties will include scheduling firefighters for duty shifts, completing monthly payroll and submitting them to Deputy Treasurer in a timely manner.

Monitoring the training progress and program eligibility of the participants and submit related reports to the Fire Chief and/or assigned Command Staff.

Prepare and submit all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports required by FEMA under the (VFRR program) and submit proof to Township.

Maintain spreadsheets and financial records and provide this information to the Township CMFO/Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer.

Perform other duties in conjunction with the (VFRR program) as assigned by Fire Chief and Township Administrator.

Candidates should have experience in Fire Department operations, NFPA standards, FEMA grant experience and administration, accounting and record keeping experience, processing payroll, and can communicate effectively with all staff, both verbally and in writing. EOE.
