Update - Memorial Day Celebration

Tabernacle Township Committee and Tabernacle Township Recreation Committee in conjunction with the Commander of the Medford Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) are proud to announce that there will be a small Memorial Day Ceremony as follows:

Time:               9:00 a.m.
Date:               Saturday, May 29, 2021
Where:          Junior Mechanics Cemetery
                          133 Carranza Road, Tabernacle, New Jersey 08088

Shortly thereafter, everyone will proceed to:
Town Hall - Tabernacle Township
163 Carranza Road, Tabernacle, New Jersey 08088

Once at Town Hall, volunteers for their respective organizations present will place their ceremonial wreath along the Memorial Monument for all veterans; then a prayer will be recited along with a rifle fire of the 21-gun salute to honor the nation's fallen.

Any organization is welcomed to place a wreath. 

Optional:        If you are over the age of 18, and have an underlying medical condition and/or if you are in a crowd where you are unable to practice six feet of physical distance, please feel free to wear a face covering.

If you see someone wearing a mask after the CDC has removed the masking requirements, please remember:

People may have cancer.

People may have autoimmune disease.

People may have unvaccinated children.

People may have high risk loved ones they are protecting.

People may have asthma and have realized that their symptoms are alleviated by a wearing a mask.

People may be unvaccinated.
